| Welcome to the 2004 Spring Conference and Exhibits of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists of Alaska. The theme for this year is “On the Edge.” The laboratory world is constantly changing and we all need to be on the cutting edge of technology in order to provide quality testing. This conference provides an opportunity to obtain continuing education in the latest advances in laboratory medicine as well as the opportunity to see the latest in instrumentation and technologies on the Exhibit floor. It’s your opportunity to network with fellow laboratorians, tell | Alaskan tall tales, learn about the changes in the industry, renew old friendships, and make new ones. I hope you will meet all the vendors that so generously support us. They are our supply lines as well as our biggest boosters. Talk with the CLSA members that have donated their time and effort to put this conference together. Tell them what you liked, disliked, and what you would like to see happen in the future.
