This year, at the CLSA Spring Conference, elections will take place for the following Board  positions:

President Elect– three year term as President Elect, President, & Past President. This person must have board experience.

Treasurer– two year term

Arctic Interior Region Director– three year term.

Southeast Region Director- three year term

Two Nominations & Elections Board Members– one year term.

Anyone interested in nominating a member can send their nomination to Teresa Johnson at tjohnson@gci.net. Interested members can nominate themselves.  We will also open the floor to nominations at the State Annual meeting in Anchorage.  All nominees will be asked to submit a short bio for members to review.  For more information regarding these board member positions, contact a member of the Nominations & Elections Committee.  See page 7 for contact information.

Once again this April at our annual state conference we will be conducting a fundraising event to support the Children’s Miracle Network. Here in Alaska, the Children’s Hospital at Providence receives the benefit of our effort, receiving all of the funds we raise. Our money stays here in our state to care for the medical needs of our children and their families.
